This design is called 'Pelicans Pondering'.
It was captured during a huge flood season in Central Australia, when all of the coastal pelicans instinctively know to fly thousands of kilometres to breed. We flew our helicopter to a nearby dry patch, then walked in to the famous Australian explorers Bourke and Wills 'Dig Tree' on the Cooper Creek, near Innamincka in far western Queensland, Australia. Just as we quietly approached, the entire flock of pelicans lifted out of the water like jumbo jets taking off. They flew towards us about 10m and all landed again. It was a spectacular sight. Made in Australia.
Created by award winning photographer, helicopter pilot and fashion designer Robyn Hills, iconic photos are printed onto fabric and hand-tailored into 'wearable art'. Give a stylish gift that will be talked about – reminding them of you each time it's worn. These unique pieces are conversation starters.
Gift boxed for a lovely presentation, each comes with the story and a miniature of the original photo that inspired the design. The wearer will be delighted at how often they get complimented on their tie or scarf – retelling the story of you giving it to them.
